There are a lot of amazing people on PP.O including yourself Ned. If I remember right, didn't you help out the family of one of your son's teammates in regards to the costs of uniforms or baseball equipment, etc., that they couldn't afford?
Well I don't believe that those acts of kindness go unnoticed and that's why good things happen to good people. It happened to you and it will happen to Webby some day.

I gives all of us a momet to consider why we are here.
I'm fairly new to the site, but it was the generosity, willing acceptance of all the members that keep me coming back.

Some of hte jokes are just wiered enough to tickle my warped sense of humor ;D

I don't know anyone on PP.O and somehow feel like I know everyone...this truly is a special, different, place, one that I gave up trying to explain to my friends (mostly Eagles fans, I guess they can't help it).

Kudos to Webby and wife for such a wonderful gesture and creating this sanctuary for us.

I'm not one who is a great writer, and sometimes I find it hard to express just how I'm feeling.

Ned, I think you did just fine...that was as heartfelt a post as I've ever seen.

Kudos to Mr. and Mrs. Webby for your generous gift, and for working so hard with this wonderful gathering place for all things purple.

I've never met you, Ned, but like many of the other members I feel like I know you. PPo rocks!

But seriously, I knew about the surgery, but anything else past that I was unaware of..
And even though we never talked, I'm happy that you have used this awesome forum to draw your healing from.
Hopefully, we'll meet this year at a tailgate, it would be an honor.
