Thread: PPO, More than just a site for Vikings Fans !

I'm not one who is a great writer, and sometimes I find it hard to express just how I'm feeling.


Lately, and for the past few years now, my family and I have had our shares of up's and down's.
Things had become rather dark for us this past year, and faceing the surgery ahead of me, I will admit, had personaly put me into a deep depression.
Add that to the fact that I was unable to work, unable to play catch with my son, unable to hug my wife, and fighting Social Security for help the past 3 years now, with no success, the threat of lossing our home we worked so hard so many years to buy,
well things I felt couldn't get much worse for me, but realize they surely could.




Leave it to PPO's founder, staff, memebers and friends of mine to help carry me ( and my family) thru much of my ( our ) dark days.




I could say thank you a million times, and it still wouldn't be enough.
It's almost imposible for me to put into words what this site and you all meen to me and my family.
You are closer to me than even some of my own family blood relatives, and thats a fact.




Prior to and up to just 10 minutes ago, your support as a whole and some on a more personal level have given me the strenght and will to not only fight thru all my issues, but I've made some life long changes to be a better man, husband and even father.

I also hope to be a better friend and member here at PPO.




PPO to me is by far, more than just a Vikings Fan Site, it is and hopefully will, continue to be a site of fans who are more like family.






I could make a list of those who have shown to be more than just friends, but I'de be affraid to leave someone out and I do care for everyone here on a equal stage.
I know you know who you are out there, and I know you are not
the type of people who have to be put on a pedastal to be recognized, you are the ones who get your reward in life just from helping out and sharing your love unconditional.....I'm much that way myself.




I do have to send that speical Thank You to Webby and His Wife Lynn.....




This gift of a Laptop is just to much,
I had a hard time even opening the box,
I've not had many times in my life where someone I've never even meet in person yet, has had such an impact on my whole being.

I'm truly lost for words, you both will always have a speical place in my heart for this most gracious act of help and kindness.

I'm truly blessed by God to have you all in my life.



I only can wish to be there for all of you in return, if you ever fall and need a loving hand to help you up.



My wife and son also what to say thank you, and they tell me all the time to hold onto my friends here and never let go,
thats a done deal already !

I belong to a rather large number of forum type web sites, and I can say with no hesitation, NONE even come close to the Friendship and Family type atmosphere that PPO's does.







As for Webby,
just shows how great of a guy he really is !.....Even if he does sport a funny vest once in awhile....LOL

A great gesture by Webby, he gave it so somebody who truly deserved it.
