    PPO history question

    Does anybody know if any Viking Players or NFL football royality has 1) visted the PPO site 2) made a comment refering to the PPO site. I know Robert Smith was an early user of the Internet. I once got an email from Denny Green. Thanks for reading.

    Re: PPO history question

    You know, I have often thought to myself how I would check out fan sites if I were a player. I'm sure someone had to have made it here by now. I would just feel bad if Rosenthal saw some of the things we said about him.

    I'm sure that they have. I don't know of anyone specifically, but last April thanks to Jackyl we did get to meet Chuck Foreman at a bar in Eden Prairie, he hung out with us for about an hour or so... there's pictures in the gallery.

    According to Webby there are some that have checked and check back periodically. He never told us who, he just gave us the ":wink:" face.

    We need to get someone from the team to get on here and write a blog or something like that.

    [marq=up]I think thats a great idea! [/marq]

    I bet if it were a current player that Vikings.com /NFL.com would be jerks about it though. Maybe a former player would be interested in writting a blog. I say we go for John Randle, Chris Dolman or Joey Browner. Paul Krause might even be interested. I had dinner with him in 99 and he was very very nice. He wasnt happy that past players were treated so badly / ignored for awhile there until "Red" started aknowleging them.

    I hope the Zygi Wilf regiem doesnt ignore the the Viking ledgends of the past.
