Question here.

I was browsing the Intranet and came across purple-pride.com which claims that they are the longest running Viking fan forum. Searching through there they are actually kind of boring (but haven't looked fully into it.) They claim to be around for 15 years and that would mean they have been around since 1993. And we have only been around for 10 years... They say the have been copied but never duplicated. So who copied who? Not trying to bust any balls just curious.

i can't answer your questions about that, but i'll say this

they do have a very well formatted site, their home page is very neat, like the layout.
But, looking at that, it said somethign like "Total users, 334" or something close to that.

If they've been around for 15 years and thats their cumulative membership.. thats pretty bad lol.
Hell, its 11pm on a sunday, and we have 15 users, and 149 guests on right now according to the "Fans Online" on the right.

I don't care who was first, but I can safely say this site is the best vikings site out there.

Yea I spotted the membership totals pretty sad in my opinion. My thought is if you need to put "The longest Viking Fan Forum" You probably are not.

That site is very clean BUT it lacks a lot of the information that this site has.

Purple-pride.com looks really nice. The layout looks good and they for instance have a list of videos on the left side and the NFC standings on the right. I like that! They also have a list of the top forum users on the right side. Maybe PurplePride.org could consider using that stuff too.
