I'll play anyone here for fifty grand.

Or, better yet... Loser takes a bullet to the brain.

Wow, a little confident? I thought it was for fun. I don't enjoy watching my opponent blowing their brains out, especially if it gets my cue all dirty.

My bad, guys. I was just playing because you guys all knew what you were talking about and I haven't a clue.

I have a few Huebler cues too. Nice cues. I did the same as you RK., paid a chunk of my tuition on the tables. Fun days.
I like the Huebler cues. Not as live as the new ones like the cuetec cues but they are solid. I shoot with a 22 weight cue. However its not so much the cue as it is the player. The trick is to get a cue you like and shoot with it all the time. That's what makes you consistent. Sounds like you have played a bit Prophet. I just joined the USPPA this year. I am working on getting enough sheets and tournaments under my belt so I can qualify for the Reno tournament this coming Dec. There are a few guys here that I shoot with and we are all going to try to go this year. If I manage to place in the money I might even sign up for the Open which is run the same week in Reno and let some pro kick my a$$. The USPPA Pro AM is handicapped but the Open is not. If you are out this way give me a call we can go shoot a couple games. All the good sticks in town here joined the Elks lodge. We have a couple of nice Brunswick's and run a USPPA tournament every Thursday night.

I didn't know that you had Texas roots...must've been back in the old SWC days

I went to U of Houston for law school and had a few Red Raider alums in my classes...I always root for your guys against Texas and A&M as well.
Yes I are a Red Raider. Spent 3 years in Lubbock til I graduated in 1970. That was in the SWC days. Is there even a SWC anymore?
