    Poker in Minnesota

Been researching this a bit.. - seems that No Limit gambling is banned in Minnesota..

That sounds a bit strange, but i can see why..

Where is the closest place to play no limit texas holdem up, close to minneapolis..

    Wisconsin is closer.

Well - technically, I suppose that all depends upon from where you start.

I actually think the closest casino between IA and WI is Diamond Jo's, which is literally right across the border off of I-35.
It appears they do have No-Limit Poker:

I've been there to play craps one time.
Did pretty well (up $300 in a couple hours, some dude hit a nice hard 8 for me when I had like $50 on it).

Yeah, I grew up in Austin, a 20-25 min drive away for me...

And possibly not too far away come summer/fall...

That is true for cash games. There are NLH tournaments though.
