    Pink Floyd

I just found out about this:
Pink Floyd Gets Back Together For One Show

These guys are my favorite band of all time. I don't know if there are any other Pink Floyd fanatics around here, but this is incredible news!

Oh yeah...and I guess they are raising relief money for 3rd world nations. I'm so excited about this it hurts.

That's pretty cool - I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan too! One of the best albums of ALL-TIME is the Wall - the movie's not bad either.

    Thanks PPE for the sig.

Yeah, that sounds pretty major - Waters left the band in the 1980's and basically said he would NEVER work with them again! I'm impressed...

I was a Floyd fan in High School.

Used to partake in certain activities that made listening to Floyd quite an experience!

IM young, would you care to elaborate?

Anyway, Im a fan, not a nut but I like them.

However my friends dad is an insane Pink Floyd fan.

I mean insane. He has nearly every single live show they have ever played, every album, vinyl and CD its crazy.

And its not only Pink Floyd.

His Grateful Dead collection alone is probably twice the size of any other collection of music I have ever seen in a person's house.

Just think of the Floyd song "Comfortably Numb", and let your imagination go...

I have every disc, every video, and every bootleg concert I've been able to lay my hands on. I also have 3 books about them which I have read many times over. Also, I have everything that Syd Barrett ever did. They were the reason I started playing guitar (back when I was 12). I'm thinking this is going to be a huge show. Very cool.
