Hello All,
I'm pissed off. My mother sent a package down from MN to FL for my little man's birthday, which is today. It had some perishable items in the package and have been expecting it for like the last week, per her instructions as she sent it USPS.
Today, I finally call my post office to see what was going on. Luckily, I get the manager right away as he picked up the phone after 14 rings. I ask if they have seen it. He goes to look and states it is there. Not only is it there, it has been there since LAST THURSDAY !!!!
I ask why it hasn't been delivered, he stated that the regular post office person who delivers my mail had written on there that the mail box was to full.
Now mind you, I get my mail everyday and my box is ALWAY stuffed with junk mail. I have taken my name off every list I personally know of to not get this junk, as it fills my trash can and I feel it kills too many trees for no purpose with the invention of the internet. These are companies I have never done business with or have ever contacted. A few of them I have contacted 10-12 times in the past 8 monthes to remove my name from their mailing lists and every time it's, "Sure, we will get it done". I even spoke with a couple managers within these organizations after I get my blood pressure up and I am assured it would not continue.
I advise the manager that I am receiving local flyers, etc. with no address or anyone at my residences name on them and I want it to stop as it is illegal to deliver mail without either of those items on them. I told him that I knew his delivery person just had extra and was filling boxes so he didn't have to take them back to the office.
He stated, that never happens as he confirmed it was an illegal action. I stated really, I have 3 items in my hand currently that has no delivery info at all attatched to them and didn't like the fact he was calling me a liar to my face over the phone.
Then he does a 180 and becomes really pleasant with me. But, alas, my blood pressure is rising. I ask for his name and the name of his superior as I would be having my attorney file a complaint with the State of FL Attorney Generals office and then maybe I can get some satisfaction and actually receive mail that is ACTUALY addressed to me.
By then, he's backpeddling fast. He states, "Ohhhh, I can make that happen for you. There is no need to take it any further."
Ok a$$hole, you just sent my blood pressure through the roof. I kindly ask he to do so, but in parting advice him of my name and that he and or his superior, would still be receiving in the near future a report from the State Attorney Generals office ... for basically wasting my time and ruining a package being sent to me from my mother.
Have a Nice Day jerk wad ...............
* rant off *
