Tuesday nights used to be especially popular at the Harmon Tap Room in Tacoma, Wash. --- goldfish racing.

No more. After protests from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, the "cheap feeder fish" have been given the hook, replaced by a more popular bar game: beer pong, the AP informs us (channeling KIRO-FM).

Because it's important to take a stand against people who are cruel to goldfish.....

I worked with a PETA Tard once, and I asked her if wearing leather and eating meat is cruel, why do you eat plants aren't they living things? She got mad and walked out of the room.

People from PETA certainly do themselves no favours.
