Thread: PETA requests that Eight Belles Jockey be suspended

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is seeking the suspension of Eight Belles' jockey after the filly had to be euthanized following her second-place finish in the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.

I am all for people standing up for what they belive in but, this seems kind of extreme IMHO.

The Barbaro story seems similar in some aspects.

hey, thats part of horse racing.
I feel bad for the horse, but that horse died doing what it loved I bet, racing.




PETA,
is a group that is very well funded, but useses those funds in the attempt to try to make others feel the way they do and to take away all animal related sports or activitys that man gets involved with
( and women )..

But if a PETA member steps foot on my property,
I will spank that ass like a race horses, and send them on their way...

PETA is a joke.
