Perfect Hockey Moment

For a hockey fan what could be better than the setting of this picture, I hope the NHL does this more.

Hockey is meant to be played outside, and hockey isn't meant to be played in texas

I didn't get to watch this.. But I heard the conditions were bad

I was so mad I forgot about it but I saw the recap and it looked freakin sweet.
I heard that it went really really well playing wise, attendance wise, and viewer ship wise.

They did have some issues with the ice and there were a few times where they had to deley the game to fix it. Other than that it went pretty good.

I definatly think they should do more of this.

I watched most of it.
Loved every minute of it, especially the ending.

Wish I could have got it in HD though.
Wildman watched it with me as well.
I told him stories about kids getting together on Hail Lake and shoveling off the snow as a group, or getting together at one of the outdoor rinks in town and taking on the other schools kids, (ours was "Forest Lake Elementary" and how all the school rinks had a house with a wood heater and some old creepy guy that watched things and kept the house warm or had an extra lace hook to tighten you skates with if you lost yours.

He wasn't very impressed but it made me miss MN winters just a bit.
