Passing of a PPO Member

This is the hardest letter I have ever written on thi site.

Fellow PPO members at this time I wish to annouce the passing of a beloved PPO member.
His name, PaulBedy59.
Paul and I exchanged many emails with one another up until mid January.
Paul suffered from cancer in many parts of his body.
He and I supported each other during our treatments and propped each other up during our low times.
Paul has not posted since mid January and he told me that if he was absent for this amount of time, that he would have passed or to a point of no return.
The cancer had spread to Paul's brain as of our last talk.
Do I know for sure that he has passed? No I do not.
But the time period that he expressed to me as a sign of his passing has gone by.
And I am fulfilling his wishes to let all of you know.
You were his 2nd family and kept him going in hard times.
He loved to banter with all of you and enjoyed sharing the Vikings as a past time.

He will be missed.

I am very sorry for your loss 6, for the loss of his family and for the loss of the fellow Vikings fans.

No matter how much we bicker and argue we are all fans of the same team. We all have families people we love and that makes anything else seem so small.

What a stand up guy, we'll miss you Paul.

Kinda puts things in perspective. Even though I'm fairly new to it, we are all one family. My prayers are with his family.

He was a good poster and a good Vikings fan...a poster whose stark honesty and unbridled love for his team who will be greatly missed here! It's too bad that both he and kramer9's brother (Craig Polozzo) didn't get to see their team win the Super Bowl...great fans like those two deserve our respect!

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family!

6, if you know his real name (is it Paul Bedy) and where he lived, you could check the obits and confirm your suspicions...not that it matters, but it would definitely facilitate closure for us all. Maybe we could even send some flowers or something so that his family would know how much he meant to this site's members.

I have pondered this idea b4, about the passing of someone on this board and wondered if they would actually be remembered or just assumed finished with the board. I am glad you were friends with him enough to know about his terminal condition to be able to let us know.

Did he have family that you know of?
