Paramount/Milking The Star Trek Cash Cow.."AGAIN"

Original series....ST The Next Generation...Deep Space Nine....ST Voyager...Enterprise....and Star Trek movies of the past move over. Time to make way for the new movie opening at Christmas. Star Trek a new beginning, with new cast to replace the old familiar crew is Paramounts hope of re-igniting the cold Nacells and engaging into the Star Trek franchise WARP SPEED of fandom.

The last big box office hit for Paramounts Star Trek Franchise hopes was First Contact, based on the beginnings of Warp Drive and featured the cast of Star Trek the Next Generation.

I was/am a huge fan of the Original Series. Not that big of a fan of most of the newer movies and series, although STNG did have some good episodes. DS9 and Voyager were....OK. Enterprise was a reach for me...especially with Scott Bakula as Captain Archer. I admit...I liked him better in Quantum Leap, with his side kick Dean Stockwell.

It will be interesting to see how well the new generation of Sci-Fi fans except this new Star Trek movie. I hope it's done extremely well and honors all those folks involved with the original building blocks of the Star Trek Phenomenon.

    Cheers! ;D

I am sure the new one will be pretty damn good because of the new advances in technology.

Could you imagine how good the old series would have been if they had the computer power/graphics we have now.

Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg
