    Pacquiao v. Hatton

I'm super excited about this fight.
Might have to find a bar on Saturday night that is showing it, since The Wife would NOT be super excited about ordering the PPV.

    Pacquiao is a stud.
But he's moving up in weight-class yet again and Hatton's back to his preferred weight.
    Should be a FABULOUS fight.

    Who do you like?

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

    Dude... I'm stoked.

I've been attending the Golden Gloves Tournament here in NYC, my roommate got me hooked on Boxing.

I like both these fighters actually, but I'm pulling for Hatton. Should be the fight of the decade... if Hatton/Mayweather wasn't already.

pac man is too fast .

if its in the center of the ring look for pac man to stick and move landing thudding shots

for the "rib cracker" to win he must trap pac man on the ropes and bruise the body.

    Pacman is the superior fighter.
Hatton is hard to dislike, though, and he generally fights pretty hard.
I think that if he can bull Pacquiao around and rough him up a bit, he might be able to make a run at it.
Otherwise, Manny will strafe him with shots.

    Also:
    Jermain Taylor is garbage.

I disagree that Pacman is superior... Hatton's only loss came to Mayweather, who is usually out of Hatton's weight class... let alone one of the best fighters of our lifetime.

Don't get me wrong, Pac is a great boxer and his losses came early in his career... but i don't think either are "Superior" to the other.

Sure does seem like Pac is training harder though.

Manny has proven himself against better fighters than Hatton.
Kostya Tzsyu was Hatton's "signature" fight, and while an impressive victory, it's really hard to see that version of Kostya as the same that lorded over that weight class prior.
Following his victory over Tzsyu, what has Hatton done to be considered a fighter of similar stature to Manny?
    Beaten Malignaggi?
    Got worked by Mayweather?
I love Hatton, but when you look at them in a PFP manner, it's not even close.

Pacquiao has effectively retired or ruined HOF fighters like Morales and MAB, and has won two of three from JMM.
Just those fights shows a stronger series of wins than anything Hatton has on his resume.

If Hatton wins this fight, it's going to be by bullying a smaller man and roughing him up with some "veteran" blows, making it an ugly fight to watch.
If he tries to play boxer with Manny, he's getting out worked and punished.

Nice analysis... in fact, I've liked a lot of your posts Ranger.

I think Pacquiao will win, but I'm rooting for Hatton.

    Tomorrow... should be awesome.

I gotta find a bar that's showing this one.
Don't think I want to wait for the HBO replay in a week.
