But do you really think that I am NOT serious?

Heck, converting to a Packer fan would be a heck of alot easier than to continue suffering year after year as a Vikings fan.

Why should they have all the fun?
    ???

you call having sex with sheep fun??

    Thanks josdin00

    I don't know...I've never tried it.
    How is it anyway?
You sound like you tried it before.

If one takes off the Purple and Gold (Green and White, Blue and Orange, Team Colors) glasses, steps back and looks at it, one could say that about the Packers.
It is more fun to Love to Hate them though.

    Why?
I think that we should love them and root for them because they are our neighbors...and we should always wish that our neighbors do well.
I mean, they are 6-1 and obviously headed for the Super Bowl...we should root for them to win it...and bring honor and glory to the Upper Midwest.

How could any self-respecting fan of the NFL say anything bad about the Packers?
I mean, c'mon, ANY team that has Brett Favre on it cannot help but shine over all of the other teams in the NFL in terms of pure class.

Their coach doesn't gloat, he just does his job very well.

Their wide receivers don't look for glory, they just catch the ball and score touchdowns.

Their running backs don't care if they get any high yardage totals, they just want to block for their leader so that he can add to his glorious TD record.

The offensive line is content to toil in obscurity...all for the glory of the Packer faithful.

Their defense doesn't brag, they just stop their opponent when they need to in order to win the game.

AND MOST OF ALL, the class that every one of their fans shows wherever they go is unsurpassed in the annals of sports fandom.

Join me, fellow Vikings fans, in saluting our bitter rivals, in their great accomplishments.
I'm sure that you all will be rooting for them to win the Super Bowl this year so that Brett can finish off his career in style.

After all, what's a little bit of razzing that all of the Vikings fans would have to put up with (FOUR Super Bowls to NONE, etc.) when a great QBs legacy is waiting to be capped off by triumph.

    Who's with me?
I was with you all the way up to this statement.

Hate to say it, but I gotta agree.
    Take it one step further........

    How about the Lions.
    Same can be said,
Very quiet and a nice Wins/Loss record so far.

Maybe, just maybe the NFC North is returning to its glory days of putting more than one or two teams in the playoffs every year.
Anyone else remember when we used to drop a trea spot on the NFC?

    Purple glasses off.

Vikes have been in every game with some very good teams this year.
We are a QB, WR and a DE away from being very good.

GB is young, except at QB.
What will they be with Rodgers?
Probably a slight drop off but still pretty good especially as that OL keeps maturing.

Lions, despite McMullen and his front office might have found something with Martz.
Wonder if they can keep him?

Boars, however, not sure about them. Need a QB and depth at D seems to be thier achiles heal this year.

    Short story long.
Gonna be tough to get a win in the NFC North for a few years my friends.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

I'd rather cut my arms off & try to play tennis, than become a Packers fan.
