That's what I thought they looked like, but they are fluke. He decided to fish for fluke for the halibut.

Thanks for the kind words Singer, and your welcome in our home anytime..

I guess by now you all realize, we had a great vacation, and alot of good laughs where shared.

Singers visit was planned some time back, so I also planned to have my jobs complete and take a week of free time for myself to spend with Singer and my family.

But my house closing (another horror story) was delayed again and again, and only got done the week before Singers arrival......It took me 5 days to move in from the old place, so things where a bit cluttered when Singer arrived....I had cable, phone, satelite, computer, appointments with techs for all new hook ups....These i had to attend to and many chores to be done...At first I insisted we just enjoy our vacation and put off my duties till Singer went home, but Singer being the gracious person he is, wanted to jump right in (no not into the sump) and give me a hand with some things.
Singer changed locks for me, helped with some plumbing issues, ect ect.....But we did take a good amount of time to enjoy ourselves with adventures like fishing twice, crabbing, casino, buffets (even singer was impressed with our chinese buffet here)...Mystic Villiage and Aquarium...

All in all, a very nice vacation..... But I hate to say, 7 days flys buy so fast

I can't wait now till I have my adventure in MN this season, but I think I'll stay in a hotel.... ;D

I know payback can be a bitch.....

Ned & Singer congrats on the fishing success and at least you guys got some!
The last 2 times I have been out deep sea fishing we have gotten 1 fish for the whole boat.

And singer at least he let you out of the chains and shackles for a day of fishing!
In all fairness, Ned & his lovely wife Margie were very gracious hosts & wouldn't let me pay for hardly anything. They paid for the fishing trip & he wouldn't let me pay him anything.

He even entered me in the contest & didn't tell me until after I had caught my 2nd fluke. That's when he told me I'd have to do about a pound & a half better to win the pot, which I did.

He wouldn't even take the prize money when I offered it to him, but he did let me buy the lobster, squid & sweetcorn.

I did also make him one of my 20 pound cheesecakes while I was there. I bet there's even a piece or two left in his fridge yet.

Ned & Margie are a fine couple & great hosts & you would have a hard time finding better.

They went out of their way to make me feel at home & feel like family. I am very greatful & indebted to the both of them. Even David, their 6 year old son gave up his new room for me, complete with Spiderman sheets & pillowcases.

I had a wonderful time & look forward to Ned's return trip to Minnesota. I'm hoping he will bring Margie & David along.

Thanx again Uncle Ned & Tia Margie. I will get even.
Making him stay in WISCONSIN with you will be revenge enough!
