The other season opener.

It was the Minnesota Pheasant season opener today. It was good to get out with the dogs again after a 10 month layoff.

Got my limit and saw quite a few birds today. Good way to start.

Not a hunter

Not a fan of waking up at 5 in the morning to go sit in the cold for hours

I haven't been pheasant hunting in years. IMO, it is the best tasting game fowl there is.

I miss eating them. What is the daily bag limit these days?

Pheasant season begins at 9:00 am every day so you can sleep in a bit.

As far as the cold, I like it better when the temp drops. It was too warm this weekend.
