Thread: OSU's Mike Gundy goes off on reporter - You Tube.

Oklahoma States Coach Mike Gundy went off in a post game interview about a story written about one of his players.
I must confess I dont know the situation well enough to say if this kid as as good of a kid as the coach alleges, or whether the article was warrented, but if you havent seen it, check it out.

I just love a coach sticking up for an student-athelete like this.
I also love that the coach absolutely undressed this guy with passion, and a little bit of anger, and never once (that I noticed) had to stoop to profanity to do so.

Besides I have to admit I just love when anyone undresses a member of the media like that.

Gundy is definitely a hero.
I wish more coaches at that level would stand up to the media hacks.
I have no idea how most of them even have a job, their writing skills are pathetic.

Football Writers Association of America president Mike Griffith issued a statement about the incident.

"I consider Coach Gundy's behavior completely inappropriate. It shows a lack of respect for the media and doesn't speak well for the university and the fans that he represents. Coach Gundy's actions have brought national attention and further scrutiny to the situation that could have been handled in a more private and appropriate matter."

The media makes their money throwing shit around but when it comes back to hit them in the face they cry foul ??? I wonder how many of the media cannibals ran with that story.
Nice to see a coach chellenge the media in forum of their peers.
