I remember watching this game as a wee lad with one of my uncles. He was going ballistic, I didn't realize at the time that this would go down in history. I bought the Heidi movie the other day for $1. It is absolutely horrible. I remember reading somewhere that the network received so many phone calls that they vowed to show every game in its entirety after the Heidi episode.

With 1:05 to play and the Jets leading their hated rival the Raiders 32-29, NBC threw the switch on the game on the East Coast to show the movie "Heidi." What they missed was a 14-point explosion by the Raiders; at least they got to see the movie.
