OH My Gosh I Got a Letter from U of Miami Today so I SHOUT

As i told u guys in the how old r u forum that i was 14 and proud to be a high school freshman. 2day was the best day of my life because i got a letter from Larry Cocker the head football coach at the University of Miami.I play football. He said that 1 of his scouts has seen me play once and i was far from what they expected for a freshman QB(pretty strong arm, excellent accuracy, quick on his feet)

1.My max throw at a combine in NC was 65 yds.(which to me is impressive for a freshman)
2. My 40 time: (4.8)
3. My bench press max is 185 yyeeaahh i'm weak
4. I'm 5'10 and weigh 187 lbs.

I know I already told you this but that is awesome. You don't sound too bad for a 14 year old with a 4.8 40. (that is slick for a QB in HS :shock

Keep working man. From the way it looks so far you might have a good shot at it.

Thanks guys i will keep u posted on my situation from my freshman to my senior year and if i accept to go to any big time college inluding Miami i will always keep the members of PP.O posted thanks for the support guys

u starting varsity?

colleges do send a lot of letter out to people..
not doubting you, thats awesome..

i always think i missed out on my calling as a professional qb..

i'm a pocket QB but i run only when i have too. The coaches say i don't use my speed enough though.

You run a 4.8 in High school. You should try to use your speed more but don't get hurt. :wink:

Seriously though. Most QB's are lucky to run a 4.8 coming out of college.
