official paintball / airsoft thread

i have both a paintball and airsoft gun and i personally like paintball more even htough they are both fun. airsoft looks real but dosnt hurt as much.i was wondering wat you guys think and wat guns you have? or just tell war stories about stuff thats happened to you

I personally like Airsoft better because I can't take pain well and u don't need to get all those warm clothes on and u don't get messy from it..

My bros play sometimes.. They have little 20 dollar pistols.. They work well tho..

Only thing I can't stand is u have to fill up alot more then u do in paintball.. Unless u carry like 5 spare clips

i dont have either but i ve played both and i like airsoft more its not as messy, but they are both fun we play capture the flag out in one of my buddies shelter belt, hide the flag anywhere you want , great time, i like it better then in an assigned area, but yeah

Airsoft guns are basically pellet guns that aren't quite as harsh as regular C02 guns. They're a lot of fun though because they make pistols and automatics and all kinds of crazy stuff. They're huge in the dorms at college.

i play paintball all throught the winter, mostly because its an excuse to wear ALOT of layers. :grin: airsoft in the summer is fun, because it just doesnt hurt. paintball doesnt hurt either for the most part, except if you get hit in certain areas.

for paintball i have a tippman 98 custom, which needs alittle fixin', and a revalation by viewloader. the revalation is extremely strong, and the tippman has plenty of accuracy especially with a longer barrel.

for airsoft i have a smith n wesson swg-50. real nice, REAL heavy. and a few $20 guns.

i have an airsoft automatic gun. it is pretty sweet. it sprays bullets!!!!! it sucks when you load and it does not hurt but it is still fun!!

when i play paintball i wear a t-shirt and jeans. i've got paintball gloves to protect my hands, probably the most painful place to be hit IMO(other than crotch of course)
