Official Olympics thread!

Since this hasnt been posted yet, i thought id bring this up, most notably for the basketball team. We are doing ok at the moment for all the talent we have.

Losing badly to italy was just plain out embarrassing. I guess we finally found out how to play a team game unlike the first couple of games.

Still yet im still waiting for the team to impress me, turkey was keeping it close despite trailing by 17 at one point.

Lets just hope the preseaon is an abberation and that the team will actually play like a team on both OFFENSE and DEFENSE.

Are team is to trun-over prone, but hopefully that loss was a wake up call. I cant stand Marbury they need to bench him or somthing.

MAN it is like a war zone in Athens right now my partner took our boat to Rhodes and I was going to bring it back to Athens but it is so crazy there we have desided to leave it with his parents in Rhodes until spring and then take it back :? so Natasha and I were :scratch: thinking to come to America, :cheers: BUT to get her a visa takes forever IF they give it :evil: , so it looks like Germany, Switzerland or France still not sure but.. :shaking: .all the Cypriot athletes left yesterday and tomorrow is open ceremonies that is all we will see now for the next month on TV Oh boy what fun....

Whats wrong with marbury??? Is he that bad, i havent really followed the team until the fourth quarter when it counts the most since the game aint as important as a laker/viking game would be.

I think the mvp of this team so far is tim duncan. Hes been doing pretty much everything you could ask of him.

Our basketball team could have some problems.....but I think they are going to pull through and win a medal.

Sadly yes were only doing ok. The only time we would be doing fine is if we didnt get killed by italy, beat germany by more then just three points and put turkey away when it counted although we won that game. At one point in the fourth quarter of the turkey game, it was only a three point U.S lead.

Hopefull we'll do better when the game counts. Maybe thats why the players arent playing to there potential. :roll:

Didnt even know he played for the wolves. All this time i thought he was with the suns before going off to the knicks.

no he played for the wolves, nets, suns,and the the knicks.
