Official Madden 2008 thread

The last game of Madden I played the final score was something like 285 - 14.
It was my best game ever. (Madden difficulty - 4 minute quarters)

[size=1pt]The score was actually 70-0 at the end of the 4th but some glitch allowed the game to continue[/size]

I have Xbox Live and would like to get down on some games with some PPO people for sure.

I was online last night playing and yes I'm always the Vikings.
I love running the ball and AD/CT are animals on that game.
Plus I throw AD in the 5th receiver slot and pick the NE playbook both offense and defense.
I just like the openness of the playbook on offense and I really like the Nickel package options NE offers on defense.

I did want to ask whats up with the guys that you play and nearly beat that have some incredible record of 60-6 or something to that nature and when the game is getting out of hand for them my connection to them is lost.
Does this mean they shut down the console?
Or are they using some sort of cheat code?
I just don't understand how the hell you can have that type of record without some sort of cheating b.s. going on.
There is nothing that pisses me off more then dog stomping a guy and then having that happen.
Anybody have any clues why this happens?

Anyone going to be getting Madden 09' for Xbox 360?...

I have Xbox Live and would like to get down on some games with some PPO people for sure.

Let Me Know.

I will be getting it no matter what.
I buy it every year and truly play it all the time when I can all the way up to the new release.
I only buy a few games a year.
This year it was Madden 08 and soon to be the new GTA for the 360.
Between the two of those games I don't have time to play anything else.
I suppose I rent a few here and there but nothing can match up to the amount of fun I have playing madden online.

I hate Madden online because it's almost impossible to get through a game without losing connection because the other idiot quit.
I can play cod4 for hours on end without getting bored.
It takes extreme effort to put down the controller and walk away...cod4 is the only thing on earth better than sex.

Madden is 100 times better than COD4....I played COD4...it is O.K but I would rather play Frontlines or Army of 2. Those are better than COD4.

But Madden is the BesT!
