    Official Lil' Wayne Thread

Time for the folks on Lil' Wayne's jock to prove why he's so great to someone who listens to real hip-hop.

Lil' Wayne says he's one of the greats, and a genius (like Kanye the gay-fish). Now, all you Lil' Wayne dorks can prove it by:

Proving he's lyrically better than the top rhymers of all time: Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Big L, hell, even Jay Z. If you can't prove it by comparing lyrics against lyrics, we can then deduce that Lil' Wayne's "greatness" is only a result of his ongoing propaganda campaign stating that he's anything less than a moron.

    I can state the inarguable:
-his beats were made by an idiot
-he can be quoted as saying "i'm the talentedest," thus is an idiot himself (that can't be argued as slang, either)

lollipop? how about "who shot cha?" Dude is a lady-boy when compared to the greats. Hip-hop isn't about all this club bullshit, it's about BEATS, STREET LIFE, TURNTABLISM, BREAKIN, not braggin' about the crap your label bought for your ignorant a$$.

I'm a big Lil' Wayne fan, and this is my opinion:
Lil' Wayne ain't even close to the all-time greats when it comes to lyrics.
Honestly, some of his lyrics really sucks. However, I still listen to his music alot.
Then you may ask: Why the hell do I listen to him then? First of all, he makes sick beats, but he also got great charisma and an unique style of using his voice... which, for some people(including me),
    sounds really cool.

The thing with Lil' Wayne is: either you love him or you hate him. I aslo believe that it takes some time to really get into his music. I remember that it took some time for me to really like his music. Same for Bigge, although his style of music is different, it took some time for me to get down to his songs.
