Bluegrass is country with talent. It's sad that what was good bluegrass music has over time turned into the garbage country music of today.

Of course, living in Bluegrass country (Kentucky) we get a lot of the old time genuine bluegrass around here. Go to most any small town and you'll find some guys and gals doing some old bluegrass. Nothing like a good fiddler.

Unlike some people with music degrees I respect all forms of music even if i do not like it!

One of the reasons that I like to visit the mountains of NC. Unfortunately it's pretty dead where I live.

I can't say I'm a fan of country music. I did, however, buy the CD of music from the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou". Something about those songs...I liked it.

Can we all just agree that the old classics like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson are great, but modern pop country is as painful to listen to as watching Brooks bollinger play football?
