Seriously though.
I found that when I was in that situation, you have two extremes and some middle ground.

1 - sit there and put up with it or
2 - tell them they are all a bunch of whiney babies, straight shoot it.

1 is painful with some day being better than others.
2 basically cuts you off from friendly conversation and makes you the serious office Jerk (in a good way) or the "she's too good for us person."

There is plenty of room between 1 and 2.
It isn't as cut and dry though.
