That's just an unwritten rule.
Saying the N word is like wearing a Packers jersey. It just makes you look stupid.

Re: NY ban N-word
My daughters boyfriend is black & he uses the term all the time.
It sounds like everyone will be banned from using it. I wonder how he feels about it.
I also wonder exactly how are they going to enforce this law?

the way i see it if youre black its okay to say it. also its not that offensive (around here anyways) if you ended it in -AH instead of -ER.

Re: NY ban N-word
Personally I feel this is an issue of social decency.
I don't want anyone using a negative term for me casually.
So I will show others the same respect.
No skin off my balls, and unless you are a racist biggot, this law shouldn't affect you at all.
If it does, maybe there are some deeper issues you should explore within.-Sno

My friends and I call each other Crackah all the time.
Definately offensive to call each other Cracker though.

Re: NY ban N-word
does this mean that the word Cracka is now banned as well?
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.

Re: NY ban N-word
I personally have several black friends, and have NEVER used the N word.. Not even joking around.. It is very offensive, and not needed.. I hear them call each other that, but that is between two African Americans..
