That's just an unwritten rule.
Saying the N word is like wearing a Packers jersey. It just makes you look stupid.
My daughters boyfriend is black & he uses the term all the time.
It sounds like everyone will be banned from using it. I wonder how he feels about it.
I also wonder exactly how are they going to enforce this law?
wow...
starting to play with free speach if it goes beyond symbolic... but... it is about time that this double standard be criticized.
It is only symbolic singersp.
the way i see it if youre black its okay to say it. also its not that offensive (around here anyways) if you ended it in -AH instead of -ER.
Personally I feel this is an issue of social decency.
I don't want anyone using a negative term for me casually.
So I will show others the same respect.
No skin off my balls, and unless you are a racist biggot, this law shouldn't affect you at all.
If it does, maybe there are some deeper issues you should explore within.

My friends and I call each other Crackah all the time.
Definately offensive to call each other Cracker though.
I wonder how long it will take them before doublespeak kicks in.
does this mean that the word Cracka is now banned as well?
I personally have several black friends, and have NEVER used the N word.. Not even joking around.. It is very offensive, and not needed.. I hear them call each other that, but that is between two African Americans..
