North Dakota High School Hockey Championship Controversy
Late in the third period of the 2008 North Dakota hockey championship. Grafton Park River Spoilers have an extra man on the ice to score the tieing goal against Grand Forks Red River. It's not caught and Grafton ends up winning in triple overtime.
Watch the video, and you can clearly see that GPR (dark uniforms) has six men on the ice when the goal is scored.
I have no idea how the officials missed it.

I feel bad for both the GFRR students as well as the GPR students.
The GFRR students were dealt a huge disservice, and the GPR students have a tainted championship.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

BULLSHIT! I call shenanigans!
That's pretty lame, but it's not like Red River hasn't has there share of state championships. They won all three years that I went to school there (96-98). This just serves as fire for next year.
