Re: Nine Finger Ned

Ned I feel for you man, being a joiner (I think the correct term is carpenter in the US) I work with equipment that can do that sort of damage every day. Fortunately I have never lost any digits so far, touch wood, but I am totally aware how risky a business the construction trade is.

I REALLY hope everything works out for you, and I wish you a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear that Ned, I hope it heals quickly and the pain goes away. Let your nurse take care of you.

Ouch Ned, that's gotta hurt.
Sorry to hear it.
I know a few tradesmen who've lost a finger or two, and they seem to get by just fine.
Who knows though, maybe the doctors stitch-work will work out.

I'm sure it was dropped on him like a guillotine. It was a concrete form.

That horrible news.
Sorry to hear about your bad luck continuing, Ned.
Good things are due and you'll be getting some good luck your way soon, just hang in there.

I thought Ned was getting away from the concrete work to save his back???

Get well Ned, I hope things are improving after the surgery....you need those pinkies to get the sea water out of you ears when you fall out of the boat fishing.

Hey Ned, sorry to hear about your injury. That sucks! Do what the Dr. tells you, try to lay off the pain killers (they're habit forming). Keep your sense of humor, and I'll keep you in my prayers for a complete, speedy recovery.
