I have come to like NFL blogs, sure, there are hacks, but, some are really good.
It makes some of the sports journalists get off their asses if they want to keep their jobs.
The competition is good and the overall quality of writing may improve because of the increased exposure and reputation that some of these bloggers are getting.
Maybe it's just wishful thinking and just more quantity than quality. I'm guessing that editors get wind of some of the more quality blogs and then wonder why they are paying someone like Tom Powers coin when someone that is doing it for free does a better job.
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please. Mark Twain
