New Players to look out for
This post is my prediction on Ricky Ray. The new qb the Jets signed from the CFL. Iam telling you this guy is going to be huge some day in the NFL. Even Warren Moon agrees , just watch and see for yourself.
I have seen this guy play personnaly unbelievable accuracy in his only 2 seasons in the CFL. He has been to 2 Grey Cup Championships and won last years.
He is still really young only 24. He quite possibly could be the next hidden gem big success story. He is the same style of player as a Tom Brady.
You heard it here first wait and see.

As a Calgary Stampeders fan I have to disagree
. He is most likely less talented than Dickenson was when he went to the CFL, but Dickenson went to a situation in San Diego where he wasn't really given a chance. This is the same story for Ricky Ray, he is going to the Jets. The only way he will ever play is if Chad Pennington goes down again, which is somewhat unlikely, seeing as how I would barely play him in preseason if I was the Jets. I dunno why Ray went to the jets anyway, word was that the niners and phins were interested. At least there he would have had a shot.
On the other hand I am obligated to be a John Avery Fan. If he is given a chance I think he will shine. Although fumbling punts/kicks really doesn't help.
I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

Although I a disagree that Dickenson is better than Ray I do believe Dickenson is an amazing QB. I dont understand why Ray signed with the jets I figured his best shot was with the phins.
I also agree Dickenson could be a great NFL player but didnt get a fair shake.
As for John Avery I think he is an excellent player, although he does fumble alot....my bet is that he ends up back in the CFL because NFL is always sterotyping about his size and they think he's washed up and injury prone.I think he could have done just as good as Moe williams for the Vikes this last season....I hope he tears it up in whatever leauge he ends up.

I'm a Rider fan so I really hate to agree with you, but Ray could be the real deal. He's young, and if he get some game time in the next few years, he could turn out to be great. can't be much worse than Henry Burris anyways. Go Riders!

This may be off the topic a little, but biggest one-year wonder ever -- Kurt Warner. How overrated did this guy end up?! Rams are gonna dump him, and Marc Bulger put up better numbers than he ever did. I just think it's funny cause I had this friend calling him the best ever after that one season.
Skol!
Go Vikings!

He and bulger just benefit from being in an awsome offensive system. They have the best receiver duo in the league in Bruce and Holt! But Hey, they're ok!...I wouldn't say best ever

Hey Claiborne, what do you think the odds of the riders trading Burris to the stamps are? Dunigan seems to be cleaning house of all the good players here.

I thought Krieg held that record? At any rate he also had almost 300 TDs in the NFL, and God knows how many in Canada...does that count for anything?"He either fears his fate too much,
Or his deserts are small,
Who dares not put it to the touch,
To win or lose it all. "
