Thread: New Feature Considered

I am considering upgrading the Instant Messaging software....

it would include the ability to add people to your buddy list, etc and other enhancements to its current incarnation.

Question is, would an enhanced instant messaging program be enjoyable for y'all?

For newcomers, we at PP.O take the direction of our development in many areas from the fans so we can keep this place humming along like everyone wants from a community. To that end, I try to make sure my time programming gets spent wisely in the right areas.

So vote now, and comments welcome!

I would say yes webby, go for it..

That way it could be used almost like a chat room, that is if the IM gave off some sort of bell or sign that a buddy just entered. Even though all you would have to do is look at the who's logged on list..

I'm still having trouble with my IM, so maybe the upgrade could straighten that out...

What we really need is a ppo transport shuttle....Like on the Starship Enterprise.....That way I could beam myself up to a game anytime I wanted or just go visit people like Singer and Shock or even Cajun when I want to...

Well maybe not Cajun, who the hell knows where I'de end up if I set the transport to "Find and go to Cajun"....Could be a scary trip....

But anyways, thanks for all you do.....

PROMISE:....Once this winter lets up, I'll be making a nice little donation to the site....I'm just busy putting out bids for the spring right now, an not much of a positive cash flow coming in.....

yeah me too. its not really useful for me at all. it would be good for those you of who live close together.

But if you live close together, why would you need IM more? I use it most with people who are far away rather than spending money on long distance.

Maybe you don't think many people would put a crabby pants on their buddy list? :lol:
