Neb. man accused of firing crossbow at neighbor

LINCOLN, Neb. - Lincoln police arrest a 49-year-old man accused of firing a crossbow at his neighbor. Officer Katie Flood said the man got into an argument with his 25-year-old neighbor about the breed of the neighbor's dog Saturday evening. The owner said the dog was a pit bull, but older man said it was a Labrador.

After the argument, police say the older man went into his apartment and returned with a black crossbow................

Believe it or not, they legalized hunting with them here in VA 2 years ago.
Used to be just handicapped hunters could hunt with them.

I for one, will never own one.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

I hunt with a 75 compound bow.. or with a straight recurved @ 55 pounds.. the recurved is a hoot to hunt with cuz you can't hold it back for an extended period of time. Adds another element to the hunt.. with the PSE and the 75% letoff.. you can be very selective on the shot you take.

My pops hunts with one because of his back and shoulder, a crossbow that is.. those things are deadly..

    Does it really matter??
    They all taste like chicken!
I'd much rather see the Packers miss the playoffs because of their talent then because of their injuries.

Can someone explain the "terroristic threats" charge? I have seen it more and more over the last couple of years and it seems very vague.
I don't think this neighbor was a terrorist.
