ties in nicely with their new mode "race for the heisman" which i think is kinda stupid but i'll save full judgement until i play the game.

but is anyone else a fan of the ncaa series? honestly i'm WAAAAAAAY more into college football than pro, and thus i love ncaa more than madden.

btw whats the deal with howard having white numbers? way to go EA!!

ncaa is good, alot of people argue its better then the nfl, but its not, u cant match the history and the passion of the nfl you just cant. I'm not knockin the ncaa, but If I had to choose, most deff would be nfl.

as far as the game is...its the best one on the market...Madden will ALWAYS be the king of sports games.

I like some things about it like somethings about Madden better. Dont like how they have no names and I wish they made it for the computer also. I also like how it has more teams to make the games equal if you want to play with friends in a tournament or something.

are you serious?

the history? considering there's universities that are older than every single team in the nfl that seems unlikely. the history of the nfl is a baby compared to the history of teams like michigan.

and the passion?!?! college stadiums fill up 100,000 plus stadiums year in and year out, while pro teams like arizona only sell out when dallas comes to town.

nfl has nothing on the ncaa when it comes to history/passion/tradition.

i am not trying to arguing with you or trying to be a dick and belittle you honestly but your two reasons why the nfl is better are usually reserved for why the college game is better.

the reason why i would say the nfl is better is the level of play. the nfl has the elite of the elite so it better be played better. but history and passion of the nfl have NOTHING on the college game.

well thats not ea's fault, its the ncaa who doesn't allow companies to use their players likeness.

if you purchase a device called xport or max drive you can go to places like www.maddenmania.com or www.geekrosters.com and they have roster files that rename every player in the game and even do depth chart changes and create missing players.

if you get one of those it makes the game that much better, esp when you import your draft classes to madden.

as far as the computer version, yeah i agree.

Yeah I knew about NCAA not allowing companies to use their athletes. Although I never heard of that xport thing. Might buy the game this year although my favorite players gone but thats ok well have to see. Having names changes everything about the game for me.

oh trust me it does, but can you imagine my joy when i found out about it after spending 3 years renmaing players myself.

117 teams, an avg of 50 players on each one, dear god it took me weeks on end. i was so happy when all i had to do was download a roster save to my pc then transfer it to my memory card.

i'll just answer back bye saying, whats every players dream in the ncaa? thats right to go into the nfl...why is that...cuz the nfl is a statement of the BEST players from everywhere all competeing for ONE thing....a superbowl ring, NOTHING in ncaa compares to superbowl sunday plain and simple
