It is a very sad day for us in the news community. I have actually had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Russert twice and he seemed to be a very nice guy.
This is a big loss to credible journalism.

    Man, what a loss!

His show was my favorite on Sunday morning...he will definitely be missed.

Sad too that he never got to witness his beloved Sabres and Bills win a championship!

    RIP Russ

I just read that also on Yahoo, and yes, that is sad.

He was as far as I can remember, easy and enjoyable to listen to.....

    RIP

That is a bad deal. He is about the only political commentator worth watching.

I was never a big fan of Mr. Russert's political leanings and journalistic approach, but there was something about him that still made you like him.
He seemed like a great guy, and he liked the Bills and Sabres, so you know he cant be all bad.

Sad that he left us so quickly.
Tim, I am sure that they serve Buffalo Wings in heaven (most likely Duff's or Anchor Bar), and Beef on 'Weck, and I bet you have a plate of them already.

I heard that he had just gotten back from a couple of week vacation to Italy with his family, I am glad that he got to see his son graduate from college, and that they got to spend that time together.

R.I.P. and best wishes to his family.

I never really watched much of him being from Canada and all, but from what I hear it was a great man. RIP
