Both MN and Boston have the same chance = 5.3%

That being said, all 14 teams that could win the lottery would love to have the option. Portland stands the best chance, with 25 percent of the Ping-Pong balls in the hopper. Chicago is next with 19.9 percent, followed by Charlotte (13.8), Atlanta (13.7), Toronto (8.8), Minnesota (5.3), Boston (5.3), Houston (2.3), Golden State (2.2), Seattle (1.1), Orlando (0.8), New Orleans (0.7), Philadelphia (0.6) and Utah (0.5).
Interestingly, only three times since 1990 has the team with the best chance won the lottery. Last year the Bucks claimed the prize, despite having only the sixth-best chance.

With so little certainty at the top, this year's No. 1 pick could turn out to be trade bait. The Bulls and the Warriors, for example, are said to be interested in Kevin Garnett and Jermaine O'Neal if, in fact, Minnesota or Indiana decides to rebuild for the future. The top pick could make for a nice sweetener in any such offer.

notice any trade rumor you see involving garnett only says teams are interested, and there is no mention that the wolves are interested in trading KG..ppl need to realize KG is going absolutely NOWHERE, and there hasnt been one single word mentioned that would make anybody think otherwise..this is an awful draft class, and trading KG for any draft pick in this years draft would be a horrendous mistake

6th pick! Who does everyone think we will get? I have no clue to tell you the truth I just hope it's not a foreign player I have never heard of.. IMO they never pan out.

As far as foreigners, I kind of like Dirk Diggler Nowitski!

    But Darko..........???
this Bargnani kid out of Italy has all the tools to be the next Nowitzki, but that also means he has all the tools to be the next Tskitishvili..it looks like the raptors have an agreement to draft him already though so we dont have to worry about getting any foreigners..we really need to take rodney carney though, the guy is an athletic freak and can shoot the 3 really well, as well as get to the basket very easily..he has the best chance of anybody in this draft of turning into a superstar

When J. O'Neal was sitting on the bench in Portland, people weren't raving about O'Neal. Lots of players have a learning curve.

    Portland
    96-97 10.2 MPG
    97-98 13.5
    98-99 8.6
    99-00 12.3

    Indiana
    00-01 32.6 MPG
    **************************************

    Dirk:

German-born Dirk Nowitzki was an outstanding junior player who applied for early entry to the 1998 NBA Draft, where he was chosen ninth overall by the Milwaukee Bucks. Immediately traded to the Dallas Mavericks where he started slowly but has blossomed into a top player in the league. Has risen to the level of being named the best international player by general manager survey conducted before the 2002-03 season.

thats easy to say when ur from conneticut..g-a-y is another athletic freak, but carney surpasses him in speed, quickness and vertical leap..g-a-y mite be the best player right now, but he has no ability to take over a basketball game..rudy plays within an offense and doesnt like to go to the isolation game like carney often did at memphis
