Just found out that Marvin Williams is a client of my firm...I hope he goes #1...it would be cool.
Doesn't sound good for him going #1. It also sounds like he could possibly fall past #2 as well, since the hawks are seriously thinking of taking a PG at #2. I still think the hawks take williams at #2, but there is a possibility that they end up trading him to a team that takes felton or chris paul. The bobcats at pick 5 would be the likely candidate for that to happen.

I don't know why a team would pass up that talent.

Teams that do, don't do it because they don't like him or think he is that good, they do it because of team needs and also some teams pass on guys that are raw like him, for a guy who is more NBA ready. Atlanta needs a PG and could get an NBA ready PG in a trade, instead of williams, who is not yet NBA ready and will take a few years to develope.

This is why the hornest ending up trading away kobe bryant, to the lakers. Not because they didn't expect him to be good, but because he wasn't NBA ready and because they needed a center, since alonzo mourning left them that offseason. This caused them to trade kobe for vlade.

Which dude? I like Z and McGinnis, thats it. Gooden isn't too bad though.
Cleveland may lose Z this offseason Ultra.
"Zydrunas Ilgauskas is going to test the free agency market. His contract expires Friday and there's a very good chance Z is headed out of Cleveland, possibly landing in New York. Losing him would be a huge blow to the Cavs, as it would not only leave them with a huge hole in the middle of their lineup, but would also discourage other free agents from wanting to go to Cleveland. However, if the Knicks run a lineup of Jamal Crawford, Stephon Marbury, Quentin Richardson, Ilgauskas and Mike Sweetney out there, led by Larry Brown, people might stop being so mad at Isiah Thomas".

Re: NBA Draft thread
Local radio station just said the Jazz are close to landing the deal. But that it will take both of their first round picks.
Or the 6, snyder, Giera, and next years 1st round pick.
The way it is panning out if the Jazz stay at 6 they will be hurting for a PG and will probably trade down.
Who knows.

I believe it starts at either 6 or 6:30 central. I am not positive though, cause I haven't looked it up, since I can't watch it. Wish I had TIVO right about now.
