NBA All-Star game: reserves, anyone?

Well, well,
all-star reserves for both the East and West will be announced tomorrow (Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006). With some many guys from both conferences deserving to play, which ones do you believe will get the "go"?
Here are SOME my picks:
East
NOTE: I'm thinking Commissioner Stern will replace starter injured Pacers' forward Jermaine O'Neal with Ben Wallace of Detroit, so I'm not even going to put in the "reserve" picks.
guards: Michael Redd, Milwaukee Bucks; "Mo" Williams, Milwaukee; "RIP" Hamilton and Chauncey Billups, Detroit; Gilbert Arena, Washington
forwards (s/p): Vince Carter, New Jersey, Rasheed Wallace, Detroit; Paul Pierce, Boston
Centers: Andrew Bogut, Milwaukee, Jamaal Magloire, Milwaukee; Illgaskus (oops! sp), Cleveland.
WEST
guards: Ray Allen, Seattle
forwards: Kevin Garnett, Minnesota; Carmelo Anthony, Denver
Center: Not sure at this point.

CHRIS BOSH!!!!!!!!

He deserves it. Getting 23 pts and 10 rbs a game on such a crappy team, he should be there.

Garnett better be in it..

He has better stats then Duncan who is starting!

I'm going to argue that the MAIN reason why Bosh is avg. 23 pts, etc, etc, on this "crappy team" is just that: he's on a crappy team. Not to mention he plays the guard position: a position that centers greatly around the ball and the flow of the game. Heck, I bet you put any guard in that team, and wa-la: they'd be avg. the same if not more!
You know what I'm sick of: folks exclaiming that Bosh should be Rookie of the Year at the end of this season; not Andrew Bogut, a Center who plays for a good team in the Milwaukee Bucks. I totally disagree. Have you seen Bogut's stats as a CENTER? This guy is really good. Too bad he plays for a team that has SO MUCH TALENT in all position (Michael Redd, TJ Ford, Mo Williams, Charlie Bell, Bobby Simmons, Jamaal Magloire, Joe Smith, Tony Kukoc; Dan Gazaric, Welsh, etc, etc), and he being a CENTER...he doesn't need to PUT HIS TEAM ON HIS SHOULDERS, unlike....OOPS! Canadian, I'm so sorry, man. For some reason or another, I was thinking of Chris Paul of New Orleans. Bosh plays for Toronto, correct? Yeah, he does. My bad.
In that case, I agree that Bosh deserves to play.

Yah Bosh plays for Toronto and isn't a rookie haha.. Not a guard either.. Bosh is a sick player and deserves some props..

What u think of KG? Better stats then Duncan and is an alternate

I totally agree w/ you on Garnett. Heck, he's playing better than the "I've missed a majority of the first half of the season" Tracy McGrady! I think Garnett definately deserves to play. Heck, I don't know why us fans didn't vote enough to put him in the starting lineup.

As long as he is in the game im cool with that..

but he's a lock for sixth-man award. I could care less if he doesn't start. He plays like a starter, if that helps any.

For the most part I agree with this but it is worth pionting out and its kind of eerie that every time they go head to head, they have nearly the exact same stats. I would take Garnett over Duncan but they match up evenly head to head and you really can't have too much of a case to say that Duncan doesn't deserve to start the all-star game. Garnett will be there and should be starting but you can't knock Duncan
