NASCAR (for fans only... no hijacking allowed)

Alright... since I let people ruin my fun last time, I'm going to lay a few rules down in this thread.

    1.
If you're not a fan thats fine.
If you have a serious question feel free to post it.
I will not tolerate people coming in saying "Nascar sucks" or the oh so clever acronyms that people always have.
You can argue the reason you don't like Nascar, if you have some thought behind it... but 2 word come backs will not be tolerated.

    2.
If you came in just to be a jiggly butt forget it... get out.

    3.
The board has a no hijacking rule and I will be laying down the hammer for this thread.

If for some reason these aren't clear and you feel the need to say... you didn't say we couldn't insult that... all those needless and unwanted posts will be deleted.
If we have a repeat violator who feels the need to be a jiggly butt on a regular basis and I've deleted several of your posts... you will get a warning... should it continue you will get a one day ban.

SOOOOOOOOOOO sad that I have to lay down laws like this, but on that note... for you Nascar fans... lets enjoy this thread!!
I've missed talking to you all about the races!!

I'm looking forward to the car of next Tuesday.

Jk, just thought I'd get my chuckle out of the way. Enjoy the season, NASCAR fans.

I like it so far, but I don't think these two shortracks will really show what its gonna be like at the 1.5 mile race tracks or the super speedways.
That was a pretty exciting finish last weekend though I thought, Jeff Burton is a pretty classy guy.
I dont know what to think of their wing rule though, you cant race if you lost your wing and the only way you can get another one by NASCAR brining one to you.
How many are they going to have on hand for spares.
It does look like it is pretty hard to lose them though. if it comes off it is still attached to the car by straps.

I thought for sure Michael Walrtip would make the race last weekend being he has been focusing on the car of tomorrow.
This has been a tough year on him, and it doesn't look like its going to get any better any time soon.
    Hopefully im wrong though.

Waltrip is so incredibly screwed right now.
when you think about it, we all have more cup points than he does.

I don't like the way they look, but sounds like they will be much safer for the drivers which is a great thing.

I think it's a great idea and a great concept and I LOVE to hear all the whining coming from the drivers about it being too loose to drive.

    SUCK IT UP!

I will reserve total judgement on it, however, until they've had a few races with it on a track where the new aero elements really matter.
Bristol and Martinsville are nice tests to get the drivers used to the cars, but the real tests will be places like Talladega and Charlotte.

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

How about my boy Jamie getting 2 top tens in the last 2 races??
Rough start but he is starting to make up some ground now.

Is this the wrong reason to want to watch NASCAR?
