A bunch of people I talked to while I was there said they came to Tahoe cuz the snow at whistler was terrible this year, But I'd like to go sometime, too.

Yeah, I was in Whistler week before last...they told us that it was the worst snow since 1981...but we made the best of it...the top of the mountains were much better than mid-station and lower. There was still alot of ice on the double blacks up top, so we usually had to wait until the sun softened it up a bit before we went down them...I am a boarder, so it was especially disappointing that there was very little powder to ride on...oh well, next year can't be worse there!

Where was that hailcarter??? i just got back from tahoe a few months back when they got all that snow over christmas... hit up alpine meadows and mt. rose... great skiing..
