To the best of my knowledge I don't see any religion that has bunny as a religios figure or sth of great importance

I saw this story and I couldn't believe the reaction of the people. I am sick and tired of always having to be politically correct. People need to grow a pair and deal with it!

IMO the easter bunny is a pagan god that children worship on Easter. If you ask a typical 5year old what is the most important thing about Easter they would be more likely respond with the easter bunny. Not the sacrifice that Christ made for us on the cross.

sigh. That is really sad.

People need to remember that embracing diversity does not mean shunning everything that is mainstream. People should not be offended when other people celebrate a holiday. In no way is a public display of the Easter Bunny forcing people to follow any government mandated religion.

When did we as a nation move from religious freedom to intolorance of all things religious?

the description Shockzilla gave is a bit misleading. One could infer, as I did, that Easter is banned in all of St. Paul. Reading the story, it's clear that this is an issue limited to the spaces in city buildings. Moreover, it's under dispute as the story indicates. From what I understand, this isn't even a publicly approved policy, but a currently unchecked directive from the human rights wonk who is probably paranoid about discrimination lawsuits or just could be overzealous at his job.
