unsolicited advertising of a site is spam. Clear it with me first if you don't want people jamming you. I usually okay them and then its all good.

What if everyone starting posting a link to their buddies whatever new site for whatever monkey business? The rule exists for a reason and you are expcted to follow it. Read the forum rules if you are in question. Noone wants 5000 new threads that are spam.
