My JV season starts today

Well, today my coaching of the JV boys baseball team starts. The varsity coach expects no more than 3 losses this year, which will not be an easy task with him taking most of my athletes to play on the varsity (which I have no problem with but if he's gonna expect less then 3 losses he needs to give me my athletes!). So I will have somebody starting at second base that is between 190 and 210 pounds (and I'm not talking about a muscular kid either!!). Oh well, it should be fun!!

It's pretty fun. It doesn't pay much, but it's still fun. What do you plan on coaching??

What grades/subject are you going to be teaching? I teach K-2 PE, a senior personal fitness class and a high school adapted PE class. I also coach JV softball in the spring.

VKG, Good luck. Keep us posted how you guys do. I am going to miss coaching track our season is nearly over. I dont know if I will find a place to coach or volunateer to coach at in Fargo/Moorhead.

I plan to teach biology and maybe chemistry at the high school level, hopefully in the green bay area. gotta teach those kids more than just science you know :grin:
