My Boy Made the UFC! UPCOMING FIGHT UPDATE

One of my best friends, whom I've known since I was like seven, has signed a contract to fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
His name is Justin Buchholz and he is from my hometown of Fairbanks, AK.
He only has one loss on his record, and it was a bad ref stoppage from what I heard.
He has won like his last 4 or 5 fights in less than 2 minutes (one KO in 33 seconds!).
We are not 100% on whether or not his fight makes the broadcast (either Spike TV or Pay-per-View), but we have been told that he will fight in England this coming January.
He is in San Diego training for the months leading up to his fight.

This is his last fight at an Elite XC (Showtime) event in Hawaii.
The video sucks cuz it was from some random audience member, but you get the point...he is dangerous and has a big heart.
He is the one with the bright red hair.

He is a fighting fan, but first and foremost he is a fighter (training every day), so he is not really into football anymore. :-\

I still hang out with him though.

We used to play football as kids all the way up past our H.S. years.
He is like 3-4 years younger than me, so he and his friends would always play my friends and I who were way bigger ;D

Just an update for anyone interested:

Justin is scheduled to fight "Handsome" Matt Wiman (the one Spencer Fisher knocked out w/ a flying knee, and an Ultimate Fighter cast member) Wednesday January 23, 2008.

His fight is currently on the undercard which means there is a good chance it does not make the live Spike TV broadcast.
Hopefully he gets another fast KO (60k for KO of the night!) and they can squeeze it in.
The rest of the card is excellent as well w/ the main event being Josh Burkman vs. Mike Swick.
