My $1,697.65 day
Well as this day finally comes to a close, I am afraid to close my eyes.
Friends it has been one of "those" days.
#1 Go to pick my daughter up from school, oh look a premium parking spot. Just need to back up. Put in reverse, BAM! There goes the transmission. Anywhere from $700-800 for that. The final bill will come to light on Saturday. So my wife picks us up and back to work with her til closing.
#2 Get home open the door up and WHAT IS THAT SMELL?
Well seems the ole trusty Refridgerater/Frezzer gave up the ghost.
Great timing too, just stocked it 2 days ago.
I just walked in from Lowes and $900 later starting Saturday afternoon I can can stock my new fridge/freezer again. And all the food was about 50 degrees. At least I found out at what temp fish, shrimp and beef start turning into CSI material.
Then 1 hour of gagging and wretching to clean the whole thing out.
So I know have ruled out working in a morgue as a possibility.
I was almost afraid to log on to the net. My TV's are all turned off for fear of additional smiting at the hands of the Mechanical/Technology Gods.
Maybe I need to offer a goat at the burning alter somewhere.
How does a person find a place to do that?
Surely it is not listed in the phone book under "Burnt Offerings"
Or is it?
Til next time, this is 6-KINGS aka "He who gets crotched kicked on a Friday"
C ya!!
and that 16 $C ya's and some change.
Medication time..........................

Your homeowners insurance may cover the lost food in your refrigerator/freezer. It happened to a co-worker of mine & she was
re-inbursed.
Take an inventory of what was lost & turn it in.
But I don't have any idea on how much of a price tag you can put on the bodies in the freezer that were severed, duct-taped & bagged.

Re: My $1,697.65 day
Sorry to hear it 6. I've had one of those weeks myself. Mine started on Monday going to class. I stopped for a stop sign and some dumb broad creams the front of my car. Little over $2000.00 damage, and they say it was my fault because it's the front of my car, and the side doors of hers!
Oh well! It has to get better![move]"Our day WILL come!! I just hope I LIVE long enough to see it!"[/move]
