Where is the column for both? I myself listen to a wide variety of music from classical to house, but heavy metal is my favorite. :headbang: Mudvayne, System of a Down and Tool are 3 of my favorites. What's funny is, as a kid rap was my favorite. :rr: Rap now however, is a far cry from what it used to be. Grand Master Flash, Run DMC, even early LL Cool J blow any current "rapper" away.

Vikes09, Have you heard Metallica's song "anesthesia (pulling teeth) off Kill em all? I don't think any bass solo can compare to what Cliff did on that song.

Let me first say, I have owned at one time or another a tape or CD of every band on this list. Not that anyone cares, but now you know. I wouldn't agree that Queen, the Monkees or even De La Soul are that obscure though.

J.T. If you like "the end of all things to come" you should get their second CD "L.D. 50" it's just as good. I just picked up the re-release of "Kill,I oughtta." That one has a different feel but it's decent.

The song that is quickly becoming my personal favorite of all time is Dance With the Devil by Immortal Technique. It is one messed up song that is just kinda weird and creepy (if you listen to it, you will find out why I say this about 5:16 into the song).

I like rap by the way

Tech N9ne, T.I., Talib Kweli are three great ones.
MC's run away when I kick it
They act so chicken, they should come with a large drink and a biscuit

Chip Z'Nuff (I think that was his name), makes Marilyn Manson look like Grizzly Adams.
