Ok let's talk about ORIGINAL songs from a movie.
What is your all time favorite song that was scored (music lingo there) for a movie. Not a song that was just played in a movie.

I would have to say "That Thing You Do" from the movie of the same name.

Not that great of a song, but "Scotty Doesn't Know" is very funny from the movie Euro Trip

Continuing on the comedy track, School of Rock has some good ones, also monty python has some classics

The only Metallica song ever written for a movie... "I Disappear" from Mission: Impossible II. Also, "Kenny Goes to Hell" from the Southpark movie features James Hetfield.

That thing you do was good. I really like The End of An Act from Team America (it's the Pearl Harbor sucks song). It's hilarious!

Duel of the Fates and Battle of the Heroes from the Star Wars Soundtracks are good too. (classical though)
