    North Dakota most corrupt state?

Isn't Fargo the safest city to live in?

I've never seen anyone here get in a fight or get in any trouble

This is fucked up somehow.. I know it's per capita but still there is really like never any crime here besides traffic violations

    That's a completely different situation.

Those kind of surveys are based on index crimes from the Unified Crime Report. Violent and property crimes.

Violent crimes are considered: Aggravated assault, forcible rape, murder, robbery.

Property crimes are: Larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft, arson, burglary.

Public Corruption is like bribery, extortion, nepotism, embezzlement, abuse of power, and stuff like that occurring within the government and it's agencies... it's not crime that you would really see.

I thought NJ would have been, with the big three cities (New Brunswick, Newark, Trenton) always having some sort of scandal.

    I don't buy that for a minute.
The media today puts a spin on information like this to get their biased point across.
The author(s) probably graduated from Harvard, and probably have many, many corrupt Massachusetts Pols they owe favors to.
Massachusetts has a huge Federal corruption probe in progress as we speak.
The heads have just begun to roll.
Way too many incidents of serious long-term corruption in Mass. politics, including the states most prominant family, the Kennedy's!

Weird, we have three large 100% publicly funded stadiums here in Fargo.
The Fargodome, Newman Outdoor Field, and the brand spanking new Urban Plains Center.
I believe the Alerus in Grand Forks was publicly funded too. ;D

Maybe Minnesota doesn't publicly fund enough stadiums (or they mismanage the ones that they do...)
