jeter had a great season, but didnt deserve it half as much as morneau..joe schmo couldve played SS on that team, and they still make the playoffs in new york..minnesota cant say the same without morneau

All the first place votes went to guys with better numbers and played on better teams.
They also were big reasons why their teams were better.
